The keyboard Type Cover for the Surface Pro 4 is available for pre-order since Wednesday.
The Surface Pro 4 was launched at the end of last year and is already accompanied by several accessories like a stylus or a cover with integrated physical keyboard.
A new accessory is now available for pre-order, it is the keyboard Type Cover with fingerprint reader. This accessory is sold for a whopping $ 179.99 euros notice to interested parties.

Since March 2, the keyboard Type Cover for the Surface Pro 4 is available for pre Microsoft. The Type Cover keyboard turns a tablet into a laptop to type text much easier.
This new model for Surface Pro 4 is lighter and thinner than previous models, it also offers improved magnetic stability and is available in several colors (black, navy blue, sky blue, blue-green and red).
The Type Cover for Surface Pro 4 is quite similar to previous Type Cover, apart from a small square on the right of the touchpad.
This small square is simply a fingerprint that allows the user to unlock the tablet reader and putting his finger on it.
This fingerprint reader will also accept payments made on the Windows Store and is of course compatible with Windows Hello.
A key to the high price
The Type Cover for Surface Pro 4 is available for 179.99 euros, a price above 30 euros compared to older models that do not exceed 150 euros.
The keyboard is now available for pre-order, with deliveries expected to begin before March 15, according to Microsoft.
This new Type Cover keyboard will also be compatible with the Surface Pro 3 but not with the Surface 3.
