The IDS has a dual character and can be conducted as a normal car, giving the driver control over the entire car. But if the driver intends, it can be quickly converted into an autonomous vehicle, passing the IDS control.
That's when the steering wheel is removed IDS, going to present a tablet with which the driver can interact by setting the destination.
It is also at this point that the driver of the space itself is amended to give more legroom and removing the control pedals.

The concept that Nissan unveiled shows that you can interact with the IDS remotely indicating you pick-up points or simply garage off at certain time and wait for the driver at the door.
Further still has the ability to display messages to users with useful information and will help.
IDS's relation to the road
Being an autonomous vehicle, the IDS has the natural ability to read the environment that surrounds it and adapt to it. By detecting passers IDS can alert them whether it is safe to pass and so protect them from dangers.
IDS still has a way to reduce traffic jams, and manageword-wrap: break-word;">
The autonomy of the IDS has not been revealed, but Nissan has announced it will have values greater than its current models. The Nissan Leaf is currently close to 140 km on one charge.
